Nora
Nora is a Lleyn sheep.
She came from a working farm where she was made to have babies over and over again.
The last time she had babies she got mastitis which meant the farmer could no longer use her for producing babies and was going to send her to slaughter.
Luckily for Nora the neighbour of the farm had formed a soft spot for Nora and heard what was about to happen to her.
She called the sanctuary and asked if we'd take her in if she could persuade the farmer to give her up.
Of course we said yes! Nora is one of the gentlest of beings, she loves attention but also holds a lot of sadness and doubt in her eyes.
She has been given the special birthday of the 22nd of February 2020.
