Our Story
Hakuna Matata (“meaning no worries”) Animal Trust became an officially recognised charity in May 2023, but our journey began much earlier.
Since October 2021, we have been dedicated to rescuing and protecting vulnerable animals — starting with our very first official rescue, Mustard the pig.
What began with a single rescue has grown into a heartfelt mission: to give animals a second chance at safety, compassionate care, and a loving future.
